We are dedicated to providing premium cab booking, self-drive rentals, and carpooling services while protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the Drydo User and Partner apps (collectively, the "App") and our related services. By accessing or using our App, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to ensure a safe and reliable experience:

• Personal & Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and profile picture collected during account creation.
• KYC & Identity Verification Data: Mandatory for platform safety, we collect identity documents (e.g., Aadhar Card, PAN Card), driver's licenses, and vehicle registration details to verify riders, drivers, and fleet owners.
• Location Data: Precise GPS location (both foreground and background) is collected for ride matching, navigation, sharing live ride status, and calculating accurate fares.
• Financial & Payment Data: To facilitate transactions (via UPI, cards, net banking, or wallets), payment data is securely processed through our authorized partner, Razorpay. We do not store complete credit card details on our servers.
• Device & Usage Data: App crash logs, diagnostics, IP addresses, device models, and usage patterns to optimize performance and fix bugs.

3. App Permissions Requested

For the App to function seamlessly, we request the following permissions on your device:

• Location Access (Precise & Background): Essential for finding nearby cabs, matching carpools, and ensuring rider safety during active trips. For drivers, background location is required to receive trip requests while the app is minimized.
• Camera & Photo Storage: Required for capturing and uploading mandatory KYC documents, setting profile photos, and capturing vehicle condition images before and after self-drive rentals.
• Notifications: To send real-time ride status, driver arrival alerts, OTPs, and payment confirmations.

4. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to provide and enhance our services, including:

• Facilitating one-way rides, round trips, airport transfers, and carpool matches.
• Enforcing our 100% verified platform policy by verifying user, driver, and vehicle identities to maintain a secure ecosystem.
• Processing reliable and fast payments through Razorpay.
• Improving customer support, responding to inquiries, and sending service-related updates.

5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following scenarios:

• Between Users: Sharing names, pickup locations, and live tracking between drivers and riders during an active booking.
• Service Providers: Sharing data with trusted partners like payment gateways (Razorpay), cloud hosting, and mapping APIs solely to operate our services.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information to law enforcement or government authorities if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our users and the public.

6. Data Security

Your safety is our top priority. We employ industry-standard encryption protocols (encrypting data in transit) and secure storage infrastructure to protect your personal and KYC data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

7. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data and Drydo account at any time. Data deletion requests can be initiated directly through the App settings or by contacting our support team.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect regulatory changes or platform updates. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notifications or email. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
